Elster Solutions remains a Market Leader with recent UL Safety Listing for the A3 ALPHA smart meter

RALEIGH, NC, January 29, 2015 – Elster Solutions proudly announces that its A3 ALPHA meter has achieved a new Underwriters Laboratories (UL) voluntary safety listing, establishing it as one of the premiere meters of its kind to receive certification.

The recently published UL Standard for Safety for Electric Utility Meters requires testing against flammability and water ingress, as well as for mechanical and radio frequency emissions of electric utility meters. UL listing provides further confidence in the A3 ALPHA Smart Meter as well as to future Elster products.
